This is my entry for the 2022 Adelaide Fringe Poster Competition. The theme was ‘sunshine after the rain’. I was inspired by the Fringe branding to create a floral pattern which reflected the imagery of the logo. I used yellow to emphasise the sunshine theme as the sun is bright, vibrant and joyous. I also wanted this design to represent hope due to the uncertain and stressful times our societies have found themselves in during the pandemic. I believe warm colours bring a sense of calm and optimism.
